Who Can Enter:
All legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and Canada ages 18 & over. Canadian contestants will be required to answer a skill test. (See below for skill test.) One entry per household per day. Employees of Embroidery Academy, their affiliates, and any person working for Embroidery Academy, promotion, advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
How To Enter:
Purchase of any course at Embroidery Academy constitutes an entry into the sweepstakes. One entry per household per day. The final day for entry is September 6,2008. For those that do not wish to purchase a class may enter the sweepstakes by sending a postcard with their full name, postal address (including: street, apartment/suite number, city, state and zip code), phone number, and email address to: Embroidery Academy, Sweepstakes Entry, 10011 Folsom Blvd #126, Sacramento CA 95827. Only one entry per household per day is accepted.
The mail-in entries must be postmarked by September 6, 2008, with no more than one entry postmarked on any calendar day per entrant, and must be received no later than 5 p.m. Pacific Time September 12th, 2008. Only one entry per household per day is accepted. Any mail-in entry improperly dated will be disqualified. Any mail-in entry that is illegible, incomplete, late or does not carry proper postage will be disqualified.

Odds of Winning:
The Odds of Winning depends on the number of legal entries by purchase and mail.
Winner Notification:
The winner will be notified via e-mail within 24 hours of the prize drawing (on or about September 17,
2008). Winners will be required to respond to the e-mail to acknowledge receipt of the prize. If no
response is obtained within 7 calendar days of notification, attempts will be made to reach the winner
by phone or mail. If no response is obtained from the winner by September 30, 2008 the prize will be
awarded to a replacement winner drawn at random. Embroidery Academy decisions about winners are
final. Prizes are not transferable.
Limits of Liability:
Embroidery Academy has no responsibility whatsoever for, and the winner agrees to release and hold
harmless Embroidery Academy. and its officers, employees, contractors and agents from, injuries,
losses, damages or other liability of any kind that may arise from participation in the sweepstakes or
from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize. Embroidery Academy assumes no liability for lost,
late, misdirected, illegible, incorrect or incomplete sweepstakes entries whether due to technical or
computer malfunctions or otherwise. Embroidery Academy assumes no liability for technical or
computer malfunctions of any kind. Embroidery Academy. reserves the right to cancel the sweepstakes
at any time if the either the Embroidery Academy website is infected by a virus, the website is hacked or
the integrity of the sweepstakes is compromised in any way.
Winner Responsibilities:
Winners are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any tax liabilities incurred. Winners
may be requested to submit an affidavit of eligibility and compliance with the Official Contest Rules.
Winner Publicity:
Embroidery Academy may wish to publish the first name, first letter of last name, and location
(city/state) of winners, and any quotation that the winner is willing to provide. However, Embroidery
Academy stands by our commitments of confidentiality related to privacy as stated in our privacy policy.
Except where prohibited: acceptance of a prize constitutes the consent of any winner, without further
compensation, to use the name and likeness of such winner for editorial, advertising and publicity
purposes by the Sponsor
