How do I sign up for a class?

From the Browse Classes web page select your class and you will be taken to the syllabus page from which you can sign up for the course. If you have an account already just sign in and fill out the credit card information. If you don’t have an account at Embroidery Academy you can create one.

What credit cards do you accept? Do you take PayPal?

At Embroidery Academy we accept all major credit cards. We do accept PayPal by special arrangement. Contact Bonnie with the class you would like to take and the email address you use for PayPal.

On your class list page I see all the classes listed, but there isn’t any information for the class. How do I find out more?

The class names link to a syllabus for each class. On the syllabus page you will get a description of the course, the name of the instructor, and the names of each chapter and section in the course.

Are there set times and dates that the class meets?

Currently all of our classes are self paced. You can take them as fast or as slow as you’d like. You can sign in at any time your schedule allows.

How do the classes work?

Our classes are online self paced courses. You can sign on from any computer with internet access. We don’t require you to download any special programs. All you need to take a class is a computer and internet access. All of our classes are self-paced so the material is available to you whenever your schedule allows for it. Some classes offer a bonus pdf of the class to download and print so you can follow along. You can print any page from any course that you are signed up for. We do offer just a couple of classes that are video. They are clearly marked. The video courses include a CD of the videos sent to your mailing address.

I have a question about a class before I enroll, who do I contact?

You can contact Bonnie and if I don’t have an answer I will forward your question to the instructor.

How do I contact the instructor if I have a question?

Each class section has a link to a conversation area at the bottom of the web page. You can use this area to ask questions, make comments, or have discussions with other students.

Who are the instructors at Embroidery Academy?

The instructors at Embroidery Academy are some of the best instructors in the field of embroidery. Each instructor has experience as an instructor in the topic he/she teaches. In addition many also run embroidery businesses, or are embroidery designers. On each course syllabus page is a link to read more about the instructor.

How do I login to my course?

The home page at Embroidery Academy has a box at the top of the page to login.

I forgot my user name/password, how do I reset them?

You can click on the forgot password link to fill in your user name and have a new password emailed to you

The isn’t a class in my software/machine. Will you be offering one soon?

We are constantly adding new courses so check back frequently. Also signing up for the newsletter will keep you informed of new and upcoming classes.

I would like to suggest a course, who do I contact?

In your newsletter there is a link to a freebie, but it is not in my format. How do I convert it to my format?

If you do not own your own conversion software I recommend that you download Pulse Micro Ambassador. This free software will convert your file into your choice of format.
